Using family and photographs as a point of departure, this first collection examines the space between documentation and memory. Each painting was created entirely through poured paint, with no brushwork used to resolve or describe the figures. The movement of the material becomes part of the image-making itself, transforming personal photographs into atmospheric recollections of family, place, and time.
